Keywords: To commemorate Hubble's 100,000th orbit since launch, this image was made on August 10th. It shows turbulent, glowing gas in a region of active star formation known as NGC 2074 in our neighboring galaxy, the Large Magellanic Cloud.
The image is constructed from exposures through filters isolating the light of sulfur (red), hydrogen (green), and oxygen (blue).
