This is another established classic, coming to market in 1958, but I don't know who Jim is! It's the most peculiar thing, but I can't think of anything in the UK confectionery arsenal that even comes close to this for a comparison. At 14g it's a lightweight, both in weight and in stature, coming in at around the size of a Cadbury's chomp. Out the wrapper it smells a lot like a Raspberry Ruffle bar if you remember those. That might be due to the similar thin coating of dark chocolate. Within though, it's quite different. The filling is a very unusual foam with a delicious orange taste. It's smooth and light, yet slightly crystalline on the tongue, coming in somewhere between a marshmallow and a meringue. It's deliciously light, and I would venture ideal for a small child to nibble as a treat between meals. It definitely left me wanting more! It's on to number 2 in the tasting set, the Fazer Jim bar.
