The car has just turned out onto Cork Hill/Dame Street at this point. The president stopped for 2 minutes outside the G.P.O. on O'Connell Street before continuing to his new home at Áras an Uachtaráin (formerly the Vice-Regal Lodge, home of the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland) in the Phoenix Park.
