Then Paige Hickman and Beth Choate from Meadville, Pennsylvania brought in some bees to ID and they had a mysterious series of Hylaeus that did not fit any of the descriptions and after conferring with Jason, we figured out that they were, indeed, also H. pictipes, soon, perhaps they will be in your neighborhood. Having a little fun with some of these pictures with the Wing Interference Patterns photoshopped up from the male's wings.
