Those with a sharper eye and a greater knowledge of Portugese cuisine than I may recognise it as the delightfully named 'chocolate salami'. It's an immensely rich and gooey chocolate cake that looks a lot like salami but tastes rather different, and I thought it would make an interesting shot for the day.
