My good mate John has been having problems with his house alarm that we fitted for him when he moved into his house. Co-incidentally, he also needed a bit of network cabling doing in his house. This meant that a trip to the Smoke was on the cards. Of course driving to London on the Friday of a bank holiday weekend which also happens to be the start of the Half Term break isn't clever, so we ended up leaving the journey until about half eight. Miraculously the strategy worked. We had a lovely clear run, and whilst we didn't get there until almost one am, it was worth it. Dave took the first watch on the driving, which allowed me to capture this sunset behind us on the M6. Today was the start of a bit of a busman's holiday.
