Some Liverpool schools have the ridiculously late finishing date of the 24th July, and we're amongst them. I guess that gorgeously long Christmas holiday had to be paid back somewhere. Ah well. Today was the school sports day, so we had the joy of spending the hottest day of the year under the beating sun at the Wavertree Athletics Centre. Ah well, all good fun. The day is useful I guess, as the interform competition helps to identify the kids who have ability that we might have missed, and that's all good for the school's athletics results. For a couple of the shots I did actually lie down on this track for some good angles. Cool it was NOT!
