I've been to a few castles in Wales but I don't recall ever going to Conwy Castle. It's a fabulous place in a gorgeous little town and we all loved it lots. The castle is of course a gem, and whilst my head for heights got me up some of the lower towers (like the one in the foreground) I resisted the allure of the big towers. Pixel peepers may notice a very brave Laura, trust Canon in hand, right at the top of this very tall tower. What was nice was that the weather held for us all day, and our greatest risk of discomfort was sunburn whilst the rest of the country was seemingly drowning.
