As it's 11pm and I haven't taken a photo yet it's time for a random object, so I thought I'd show you a REAL brick. This is Sue's Nokia 9000 Communicator from 1996. It runs an intel 386 processor, has 8Mb of RAM and weighs half a kilo. As you might see from my hand, it's also huge. Still, much as we may be shocked by it now, it heralded the shape of things to come. The organiser/phone/computer/qwerty concept probably reached zenith with Nokia's venerable E71, and now they've moved onto the touch screen Lumia series. Either way, compared to this monster, my phone is anything but a brick!
