It was a great show with a terrific line up, but it was really hurt quite badly by the weather. It didn't monsoon, but it did rain steadily for more than an hour which was a real shame. I actually got so cold (and I don't usually feel the cold) that we ended up leaving early. I can deal with cold, and I can deal with wet, but the two together causes me problems. Blessedly Dave and Carol also went, and met up with us bearing a 1.8 litre thermos of oxo. That stuff kept me going, I tell you! Laura had a highlight to her day, but I'll let her tell you about that. The reds display was great as always, and it was a flat display this time due to the rain. It was very tightly flown. Those in the know will recognise this as the amazing gypo break, one of the most breathtaking moves they perform.
