I discovered not long ago that this wasn't so, and that there is in fact an open section at the back of Altcourse Prison and Fazakerley Hospital that quickly changes its name to Fazakerley Brook. Nevertheless, after forty years of separation I went for a little walk after dropping Laura off for her long shift in work. With minimal exploration I happened across this little stream that gave my area its name.
