Well, tonight they've come down. I had a meeting my specialist tonight and it seems that my broken artery is now completely healed and I can forget all about it. I have no stroke symptoms, and as long as I maintain a healthyish lifestyle I'll be just fine. I'm staying on the antihypertensives and, for now at least, the statin. But blessedly I can come off the warfarin and replace it with a much more benign aspirin variant. That means hopefully rather fewer photos of the Royal. I'm touching wood as you never know quite what's round the corner, but it's fair to say I'm very, very pleased. :) This is a pile of 'Get Well Soon' cards, and they've been up in my room for over six months since I got home from hospital.
