Blue hours near the Aegean Sea are unlike anything else. This iconic view of the Oia Village perfectly reflects the deep blues of the ocean and sky after sunset. The beautifully cold tones and shapes of the volcanically engineered walls are cut through and contrasted by the warm, glowing night lights.

I have been to Athens several times and honestly hadn't paid attention to this church so far but I noticed that the guidebook I had mentioned Cathedral of Athens. So I took some time to take photos of the facade. This church is located in the middle of city center and every tourist must have passed by. Surprisingly construction started only in the 1800's. As it was almost midnight, there was no one. How lucky I was.
